My nephew Lane died a week ago today. I have been meaning to write on here but things have been crazy. Rylee and I were lucky enough to get to fly out to Wichita Falls to attend the funeral and be with my brother. It was the saddest thing I have ever been to in my life. Lane was the sweetest most loving little boy. He always smiled and laughed and had a good time. I am so thankful that he got to come out to Utah this summer for 5 weeks. We have some wonderful memories. These are a few of the pictures we have of him and Rylee when he was out here. When he first got here he was not a fan of Rylee. In fact after the first day I was leaving and he said "Aunt Jane will you come back tomorrow but leave Rylee at home?" It was so funny. But it only took a week or so for him to find a big place in his heart for Rylee. He loved her and always wanted to give her kisses. He was the sweetest boy. And we love him so much! He is going to be so missed! We LOVE YOU LANE WITH ALL OUR HEARTS!

I know this shot is kinda blurry but you get the gist of it. This is where we keep a basket with diapers and wipes and things downstairs. Rylee found it today and had a good old time taking every diaper out 3 different times. I think her face is hilarious she is looking at me like what did I do wrong?

And here Rylee has started cruising around more. She is leaving me to go to the kitchen. She has figured out how to crawl on the tile. Its hilarious! She loves that vent in the kitchen too!


Everyday is a new adventure with her. She is so fun and so full of love. She has quite the personality. She does what SHE wants when SHE wants! I have the HARDEST time telling her no. Even if its for her own good. I know I know I am in BIG TROUBLE!! I just love h er so much....and everyday brings new adventures and more love!! I am so grateful to spend the days with her!

9 months old and were on the move!

Life just feels crazy this last little while. Christmas around the corner snow on the ground and Rylee is finally on the move! She is so cute and fun. I love watching her explore the house! We went to the Jazz game last week and it was so fun!

In 5...4....3...2....1..............Good things UTAH!

Well I don't ever really have much to blog about other then Rylee of course...but here is a change! Thanks to my cousin Jess...I got to go to Good Things Utah today. It was really fun. Sooooooo different then I would have thought. It was really neat though. After we got to stay after for an hour and learn how to make Reagans Muffin Bread. Its a pretty good treat! She has always sworn by it. Its a great breakfast food that is really good for you and fills you up. I came home and made 2 batches of it. My mom thought it was pretty good, Gerald hated it. But its low in calories and fills you up so thats great. My mom was so kind and watched Rylee so I could enjoy an outing. It was alot of fun spending time with Mimi and Jess. A well needed break. I was sure excited to see Rylee when I got home though! If you want to know how to make the muffin bread let me know!

Who loves walks?

So lately at my house I have been feeling a little stir crazy! Being stuck at home most days with no car can make you feel that way. I made a new friend who lives by me. She has a little boy named Ike who is 2. We have been having so much fun the last couple of weeks walking almost everyday and letting the kids play. Well by play I guess I should explain. A 2 year old boy a 8 1/2 month old girl....cant really play. It is Rylee watching him play with his cars and trying to take them away from his very straight line of cars. Its quite entertaining. I keep hoping she will learn to crawl by watching him. One can only hope! Anyway whats funny is we waited all summer to start walking together and now this is what poor Rylee suffers through!
She can hardly move! But it is so fun and relaxing. So yesterday Rylee's first top tooth came in! Yeah!!!! Its so big its hilarious! But she is pretty as ever. I have to say though 3 teeth into it I finally took the advice of my great friend and bought teething tablets! Greatest thing ever. We saw results in 5 minutes. Better results then tylenol or motrin!

During dinner time Rylee was all about pictures! They are so cute I think. Lets just hope Friday she is as happy for the camera as she was today!

8 month old pictures!

Made me think...

Today at church there was a new little baby by me...and it made me think I cant believe that Rylee was ever so small! And she was actually much much smaller then the baby at church! Today Rylee turned 8 months old. It has gone by soooooo fast!!! Before long I will be planning her birthday party! (Clane will probably rat me out...because I have already started...ha ha) These last 8 months have been amazing. Everyday she learns something new. Having her in my life brings a whole new meaning to my life! I love her so much! Its unbelievable how much you can love somebody! In 8 months she went from 5 pouds 14 oz ...to a whole 22 pounds! What can I say she is like her parents....she LOVES food! I will post some new pics soon! I just wanted to wish my little Rylee a HAPPY 8 MONTHS BIRTHDAY!!

A THIEF IN THE NIGHT.....

We have had a crazy week. October 15th McClanes Grandma who we all knew as "Gram" decided to leave us here. It was a big shock! She was relatively healthy...and that morning around 11 am she called Clane's mom and said she was having chest pains. Julie rushed her to the Emergency Room...they did 4 EKGs and found nothing. They ran all sorts of blood work and found nothing wrong. The Dr. said he was releasing her. Julie told him that she didn't think it was a good idea because her Mother never complained about pain unless she trully was in pain. The Dr. said there was no reason to keep her. Gram asked to use the restroom before she got dressed and on her way back to the bed she collapsed and started convulting and they couldn't get her heart started again. This all happened by 1:30 pm...so fast! Its a typical Gram thing we all laugh now. If you were at a party one minute Gram was there the next she was gone. She wasn't much for goodbyes.....she was like a thief in the night! Although we miss Gram a ton...we know she is in a great place. We are grateful to have so many fond, fun memories of Gram! She will be missed by many. Things like this make me grateful for the Gospel to know she is in a better place! We LOVE YOU GRAM AND MISS YOU DEARLY!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Clane celebrated his 25th birthday yesterday! WOW he is getting old! Poor guy had to work, but enjoyed the evening with his family! Thanks to everyone for coming up....especially Tanner and Carly for driving so far! On Saturday we celebrated at my moms house! And I have to show off my wonderful cake! My first German Chocolate Cake I ever made! And it was delicious!

Some things never change!

We always have a good laugh with this face! No matter how old she is it never changes. By the way 7 months old in just 2 days! Crazy how fast the time flys!

I can't believe Rylee is 6 months old!

Today Rylee turned 6 months old! I won't get on a soap box about it (wink wink) but I just wanted to say how much we love having her as a part of our family! She is the greatest gift I have EVER received! We love her so much! At her Dr appointment she weighed 17 pounds! She has tripled her birth weighed. She came to us a whole 5 pds 14 oz! We love watching her grow and learn new things everyday! Enjoy some of her great moments this last month!
